I had so many people asking for the alternative version and I wanted to update this post so you can have the other version. In this recipe from Pinkmacprincess you can use raspberry jam and it is so scrumptious.

I made sure that I presented a different recipe because not everyone can find the Torani raspberry syrup. Make sure you get jam and not preserves because of the difference in texture. The jam is smoother and has less seeds.

I think both recipes tastes the same and I would highly recommend either one of them. The issue of choosing which one is better for depends on what is available at your market.
